I originally bought it thinking it would be the excellent size for the small batches I make. and it can be. The size is wonderful. Not too huge and not too tiny. It purees every little thing perfectly and quickly, plus it looks great on my counter without taking up a ton of space. The only drawbacks are that it is loud. Incredibly loud. I've to make sure the baby is totally asleep on the other end of the residence with his door closed so that you can begin pureeing and also then it from time to time wakes him up. Also the motor tends to smell.
I like this mini prep I have had it for at the least five years. I've created tons of issues with it! I produced fresh cranberry sauce with it the other day, I have made nut butters, salsa, minced garlic, minced ginger, salad dressings, fresh minced herbs, blended trail mix and produced energy bars, squash for soup. the list goes on. Just don't forget it really is small so items like onions and carrots have to be cut up a bit so they fit. I wouldn't recommend blending liquids in it unless it truly is a tiny amount, much less than a cup or so, when you do you'll have a mess to clean up.
